Many thanks to Mayor Matt Burnett and everyone who attended the official opening of our new premises and launch of Mostly Girl, the first exhibition to be hosted there. We are very proud of showing this diverse, bold and intriguing collection by 12 Gladstone artists. You must come and see it before it closes on September 15.
New home = a new sign. Looks so good!!
Photopia Studio
Spectacular work by the Photopia team to get our first exhibition, Mostly Girl, ready in time for Crow Street Creative’s WinterSun. Food, music, drinks, art and good vibes!
New studio. New logo!
1 day to go until we hang Mostly Girl, the collaborative exhibition that will inaugurate our new studio space. 3 days until Crow Street Creative’s Winter Sun: Food and Music Fest and only 7 days to go until the official Mostly Girl – Exhibition Opening launch party. It’s going to be a busy end of the month at Photopia Studio!
We are very proud to announce this first one off project in our new studio: “The Chair”. It was a participative photographic project that involved a chair, you, and a small financial reward. It made for an interesting and interactive part of the Vinyl Appreciation Society markets on Friday night. Thank you everyone who took part in it.
The first exhibition to be hosted in our new space at 8 Crow Street will be “Mostly Girl”, a collection of artworks by a varied array of artists that will surely be intriguing, thought provoking and terribly fun too. If you want to be part of something fresh and exciting, contact Felicia, our super star curator (felicia.lloyd@hotmail.com).
Photopia Studio
Day 1 of our transition from 17 Dawson Rd to 8 Crow Street… in 24 seconds. It felt like a lot longer. More work tomorrow.
